Rosell y Formosa Brut Cava Scores at Mundus Vini
NEUSTADT, Germany - Cava Rosell y Formosa has received the certification of "Sehr Gute Qualität" at this year's Mundus Vini International Wine Awards in Neustadt, Germany. This just goes to prove that quality work and passion is paying off for one of the top producers of Cava in its natural home of Saint Sadurni d'Annoia and congratulations to them in helping to bring a top Cava to the forefront of the sparkling wine world. The Mundus Vini International Wine Award is a competition held in Germany for wines from all the wine-growing regions in the world. The International Wine Award was first held in 2001. Even at its debut, it registered 2235 entries from all the major wine-growing regions in the world. And record participation in 2007 shows just how important the competition has become in Germany. 4925 wines were entered this year. Today, Mundus Vini is the largest officially recognised wine competition in the world.
